According to Northwestern Medicine,

  1. The average adult brain weighs about 3 pounds.
  2. The human brain can generate 23 watts of power, that's enough to light a lightbulb.
  3. 60% of the human brain is made of fat.
  4. When a neuron is stimulated, brain information can travel up to 268 miles per hour.
  5. Your brain is not fully formed until the age of 25.

Ways To Strengthen the Brain 

For physical health, there are different exercises you can do to target certain parts of your body. For example, crunches target your core muscles while leg press targets different muscles in your legs. The same applies for brain health. There are different activities you can do to target different areas of your brain.
